Project Description:
Eisman & Russo provided construction engineering & inspection (CEI) servcies for approximately 3 miles of CR 464 from North of Locust Road to Oak Road. The project was 2 lanes redesigned to become 4 lanes and turn lanes urban with curb and gutter and sidewalks, and box culverts. The project consisted of raising the roadway at the protected wetlands using sheet piling to protect the edge of the roadway, reconstructing the full length of the roadway by removing the existing lanes, and contructing 4 new lanes and turn lanes, including major drainage reconstruction, box culverts, utility relocation, barrier walls, guardrails, rentention ponds, signalization and striping and protecting the wetlands. This project was environmentally sensistive due to it's proximity to wetlands.
