Project Description:
The Brooks Bridge is a Complex Category 2 (CC2) structure and a corridor that is a vital link not only for traveling public but also utilities including water, sewer, power, natural gas, and communications. The bridge replacement includes extensive storm drainage elements with 143 drainage structures, 4 new ponds, rerouting of two 48” pipe, reconnecting to existing outfall and a new outfall in a small/compact area. The project has 12 utility agencies, each with multiple facilities in the right-of-way and numerous conflicts between new MSE walls, drainage pipe, ponds, roadway and the bridge construction.
