Project Description:
In 2016, Eisman & Russo, Inc. was awarded the Construction Management & CEI services for this estimated 3.5 year Design-Build project. The operational improvements to the existing I-95/I-10 Interchange include widening the Fuller Warren Bridge to create three extra lanes of traffic along I-95 as well as a shared use path over the St Johns River adjacent to the bridge. The bridge widening will necessitate marine construction of drilled shaft foundations, waterline footers, columns and caps. The half mile long main bridge span will include a post-tensioned spliced girder system. The project will include roadway reconstruction and widening of the I-95 and I-10 Interchange, bridge ramp construction and widening, construction of noise walls, ITS, signalization, signing, pavement markings and landscape relocation. Included in this work will be improvements to local side streets with aesthetic features as agreed with area community stakeholders, businesses and residents.
