Project Description:

Eisman & Russo, Inc. provided the management for response and recovery efforts following BP’s oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, leading production over all other respondent personnel. E&R managed the recruitment, training, scheduling and transportation of over 1,600 HAZWOPER certified oil recovery technicians between Pensacola Beach and Panama City Beach, FL, developed and implemented strategies to minimize client’s cost, provided technical advisory services related to the management of the recovery efforts, prepared correspondence to BP and state representatives, ensured contract and/or OSHA compliance, and responded to client’s frequent policy changes and rapid requests for manpower orders.

The project assignment was approached in three phases: Phase I-Response; Phase II-Recovery; and Phase III-Restoration & Maintenance.
