OPPORTUNITY

The Land Development Division seeks to add a full-time Civil Engineer to provide drainage design support for Residential and Commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal and organizational skills, a strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

JOB LOCATION: Jacksonville, FL

JOB STATUS: Full Time

EDUCATION & LICENSE: BS in Civil Engineering

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 5 years relevant experience

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design stormwater management systems including addressing floodplain requirements, wetland hydration, and storm conveyance calculations

REQUIREMENTS:
Site layout & grading
Drainage and stormwater management design including floodplain requirements, wetland hydration, and storm conveyance calculations
Utility Design
Permit package preparation
Florida Codes and regulations
Interpreting plans
Stormwater facilities design using ADICPR, ASAD
Level of proficiency in AudoCAD Civil 3D
